MY QUIET CAVE

My Quiet Cave creates safe groups for faith and mental wellness. We have short-term (8-weeks) and long-term (1-year commitment) opportunities for peer volunteers to lead support groups either in-person or online.

No experience or training necessary. We provide all of the training, support, and group curricula that equips you to be a champion for mental wellness!

My Quiet Cave helps faith communities create opportunities for people to find hope, support, and belonging in the midst of mental health struggles.

Description

My Quiet Cave is a gathering place for dreamers and overcomers: the lost, the found, and the wandering. We provide mental health training and education for faith communities. We equip peer volunteers to lead powerful support groups for adults and youth.

  • Teens

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 21
  • Orientation or Training
  • Initial 4-6 hours of online training. Then 2-3 hours per week of leading your group.
  • These are Christ-centered groups. Volunteer facilitators must be comfortable praying aloud and sharing about their personal relationship with Christ.
