Christian Women’s Job Corps is a local nonprofit that equips women to get a lasting job by offering job training classes. We are looking or women who want to empower other women to be their best and to walk the journey with them.
Ways to volunteer include teaching a class, being a prayer partner or just being available to help in the classroom discussions.

Description
Life skills focus on time management, money management, conflict resolution, anger management, boundaries and healthy relationships. The Jobs for Life curriculum focuses on matching a participant’s abilities and passions with job availability in Abilene, on finding the right job to meet both short-term and long-term goals, and on being a valuable employee. Participants also work on building their computer skills. In addition, each woman is matched with a prayer partner who meets with her once a week to encourage, listen, and prays for her.
