Do you love cats and Kittens but can't have 1 of your own?
Each evening we have a volunteer that provides affection and enrichment to our cats while we allow them some extra freedom to run and frolic while we clean their cages and litter pans, provide fresh food and fresh water and overall tidy the place up.
We are looking to add members to our team to assist coverage and ensure a volunteer is available daily.

This shift start & step time is flexible but we clean the cat cages and provide cats with affection and enrichment every evening.

Mission Statement
Michele’s Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit companion animal rescue located in Grand Rapids, Michigan which was started in 1997. We are a no kill rescue that takes in and adopts out animals from all over the country. Most of the animals we take in are in line to be "put-down" and need rescues like ours to find them a happy and loving home.
Description
Michele's Rescue specializes in Companion Animals. Mostly cats and dogs. We also have spaces inside the Cattery of PetSmart (Kentwood) through a Partnership with PetSmart Charities and we populate the Cat Room for the Happy Cat Cafe in Downtown Grand Rapids.

- Most volunteers volunteer between 6 & 7:30 but we allow flexibility in start time as long as it is after 5:00pm and is complete prior to store closing.
