Currently we need 18 volunteers for this position.

What is a Blood Donor Ambassador?

Donor Ambassadors help provide professional customer service in a medical setting and enhance the blood donor experience.

General responsibilities:

  • Manage the reception process by ensuring each donor is greeted and assisted with initial intake.
  • Manage the hospitality experience by offering refreshments to donors, thanking donors for their contribution, and notifying the staff immediately if a donor shows signs of feeling unwell.

Minimum requirements:

  • One 4-6 hour shift per month for six months.
  • Professional, clear and diplomatic communication skills.
  • Comfortable approaching and greeting people.
  • Basic computer skills are needed.
