At Copper's Cat Commune we believe Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) is the best way to increase the quality of life of feral cats and break the cycle of endless breeding and homeless cats. We are looking for tenacious individuals invested in the wellbeing of community cats to trap and transport community cats for TNR services. Our veterinary partners will spay, neuter, vaccinate, and ear tip, colony cats before returning them to their homes.

Training is provided.

Whether you're a seasoned trapper or new to TNR we are happy to provide the training necessary to interact with colony caregivers as well as safely trap and transport cats.

People skills and problem solving are helpful but not necessary.

TNR is a vital service and we are looking for volunteers who are passionate about creating meaningful impact on the feral cats in their community.

About Copper's Cat Commune

Location:

1014 Spring Meadow Dr, Spring, TX 77373, US

Mission Statement

Coppers Cat Commune is dedicated to the lifetime care of a limited population of ill, disabled, immune compromised, senior, or otherwise adoption challenged cats. We also provide adoption services for a limited number of adoptable cats.

Description

Copper's Cat Commune was started by Mimi Baker with the help of her husband Matt, two people with a real passion for cats. We believe that every cat deserves a chance at a happy life, regardless of the hand life has dealt them. That is what we are here to do. We provide a safe place for those with nowhere else to go. We work with paraplegic cats, fecal incontinent cats, senior cats, basically cats that no one else wants or has the capability to handle. All of our cats are available for adoption if someone truly wants to undertake the level of care that some of our cats need, but we plan to give them a home for life.

Our cats have both indoor and safe outdoor access. We have cat enclosures around the property. We have many feral cats as well that have there own enclosures and shelters. Our goal is to ensure that our cats are as happy as they can be. That is the whole purpose of living life.
