Job Summary: This volunteer position has a dual role to serve as the lead clinical counselor, and to supervise a pool of volunteer counselors, coaches, and mentors. We are seeking a person of Christian faith helping others to change the trajectory of their lives, achieve self-sufficiency and live with dignity.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide individual counseling to clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and/or emergency counseling as needed.
• Conduct assessments and determine level of services and treatment plan required for each client.
• Supervise pool of volunteer counselors, coaches, and mentors and oversee case management.
• Maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in preparation of annual budgets, program goals and objectives.
• Assist with selection and onboarding of volunteer counselors, coaches, and mentors as needed.
• Serve as lead clinician and take responsibility for overseeing all aspects of our counseling, coaching, and mentoring services.
• Assist with setting strategy for our mission to serve the poor.
• Meet with Executive Director for bi-weekly updates.
  

Required Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Christian Counseling, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or the equivalent and licensure in that field as required by degree (PhD preferred)
• Advanced clinical license (LPC or LCSW) and Clinical Supervision Certificate (preferred).

• Keen crisis management skills and ability to support the clinical needs of the ministry.

• At least two (3) years of post-master’s degree experience in a clinical practice role.
• At least one (1) year of experience supervising others and a team, strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to submit to a background screening.

Schedule and Location:

This is a remote position and offers flexible working days/hours as deemed necessary to meet the needs of the ministry and our clients.
