Research, write, prepare, submit, and report on proposals to foundations, corporations, and grant-making organizations.
Identifies new funding and material donations to support the Freeman Library and Friends of Freeman programs.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Computer skills including word processing, spread sheet and data base development.

To enhance the Freeman Library through fundraising and advocacy efforts.
Description
Our main activity is fund raising, principally through the operation of a bookstore, but also by selling pavers, soliciting corporate contributions, annual membership dues, share cards, & other means. In addition to fund raising, the Friends sponsor or participate in other programs & activities that enhance the library, such as Twilight Tales, Summer Reading special presentations, crafts, & hosting author presentations.
