Quick Overview: Tutors are needed to support underserved children in elementary - high school "Online" with core courses, such as reading and math. Online tutor sessions are 90 minutes, two to three days a week for the entire school year.

Mission or Broader Program Description: Joseph Learning Lab is an educational outreach nonprofit organization. We are on a mission to close the learning gap, reduce the dropout rate, and develop students of all ages and diverse backgrounds by allowing them an equal opportunity for learning and personal growth. We tutor and mentor underprivileged children, who are being left behind the learning curve.

Impact: Volunteers will tutor students and help them with homework so they can grasp learning concepts to improve their confidence, grades and test scores.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: Volunteers will tutor underserved children in our Virtual Nonprofit Google Meet tutoring sessions. The tutor sessions are conducted after school for 90 minutes on two to three days a week for the entire school year.

Requirements: Volunteers are expected to complete an application/background check before tutoring with JLL. Orientation/Training will be provided by JLL Nonprofit.
