Bikes & Brews

Do you love to cycle and visit breweries? You are not alone in Washington state!
Please share your talents, connections, and time to help the Alzheimer's Association Washington State Chapter kickstart this fun summertime cycling event based around our plentiful breweries which will be a fundraiser to support our critical research efforts to end Alzheimer's disease.

We are looking for 3-5 folks to specifically work on this project which we are hoping to put into action in June, during Alzheimer's Awareness month. This small volunteer committee will play a vital role in helping us identify, plan and promote interest in what will be a fun, easy event centered around something you and others are already doing!

If you know someone in our Puget Sound area who -

  • knows the Washington brewery scene and enjoys breweries
  • enjoys cycling either around town or on the mountains
  • has connections to breweries or cycling groups
  • enjoys making connections and being at the start of a new initiative
Please tell them about this opportunity!

This project will be supported by a terrific organization and a staff member is available to help with project management. We are looking to have this small team assembled by January, so please bring a friend or family member on board and join us!

The Longest Day (r) is about doing something you love to do and raising funds in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. We would love to have your talents and time to help us in this fight.

This Chapter was one of seven founding chapters of the National Alzheimer's Association, headquartered in Chicago. Today this Chapter serves individuals living with Alzheimer's disease (and related dementias), their families, health care professionals and administrators, and the general public throughout Washington State and North Idaho.
