The Cypress Chamber Orchestra is a new not-for-profit organization in the Cypress, Texas area, and recently acquired 501(c)(3) status by the IRS.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial executive director that will work with the co-founders and board members who are experienced in starting both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. While this is a volunteer position at the outset, we expect this to grow into a salaried positions as the orchestra grows.

Therefore we are seeking a dynamic individual to work with us and help us build our vision into a reality. An understanding of orchestras and classical music is important, as well as strong organizational skills and insights into fundraising, orchestra management, electronic media and the enthusiasm and commitment to build success.
