Friends of MJHS

We are looking for a team of film-making professionals who will help us develop a docu-series which focuses on a youth sports and arts organization that has locations in New York and New Jersey.

You will help us develop the concept, a timeline, schedule for filming and any other considerations we need to make the project successful. The initial vision is to upload episodes to YouTube, but we have received interest from others who would like to expose the project to broader, more commercial audiences.

99% of this work can be done virtually and we are open to helping you meet academic requirements if this is a school project. Depending on the talent present within the team, we may need to recruit others with specific skill sets. Ideally, when the framework is in place, we would like for the team to visit the New York and New Jersey locations to get a sense for how the program runs and the young people who are part of the organization.

Please describe your experience when you reach out to us. No phone calls please.

The mission of MJHS is to aid in the provision of quality education and sound character building programs for young people.

Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.

Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation.
