ViaQuest Hospice is starting a new volunteer initiative to help care for the dogs and cats of our hospice patients, so that the pet and patient can stay together as long as possible. We are also helping to re-home or foster pets when the patient is near the end of their life. This gives hospice patients peace of mind concerning their beloved pet and ensures that their pets are kept in safe and loving conditions. If you are a pet lover and would like to help by volunteering to take care of hospice patients' pets, by fostering pets, or by assisting in the work of re-homing, please contact Carol at ViaQuest Hospice (carol.reed@viaquestinc.com). References and background checks required; training provided.
