Looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity on the Westside?

Become a hospice volunteer with Brookdale Hospice. You receive special training to support a patient at end-of-life. You can read to them, hold their hand, do life review and listen to their stories. You can also play an instrument, sing, provide spiritual support, or sit vigil with them when they're actively dying.

Specifically trained to support the hospice patient and family in a variety of ways, our hospice volunteers provide compassionate companionship to those facing a terminal illness.

Description

At Brookdale Hospice we take ownership and pride in everything we do. We put the patient first, and recognize that good people make the difference. Our Hospice Volunteers provide compassionate companionship in a variety of ways to hospice patients throughout the Colorado Springs area. Self-paced training and flexible scheduling. For Patient Safety: must pass a background check, drug screen, 2-step TB test, possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
