Meals on Wheels of Northern Illinois has a pet food delivery program, that brings pet food to seniors in our program who are looking for help in feeding their pets. We understand the importance pets play in the lives of our seniors, but sometimes getting pet food can be expensive or physically impossible for the seniors to do on their own. You can help brighten the lives of seniors and their pets by volunteering to deliver the pet food to seniors in the Kendall County area. Volunteers will be asked to deliver pet food once a month or once every 2 months, preferably on a Saturday or Sunday (but we can work with your schedule!)
Volunteers should be comfortable interacting with seniors and their pets and able to lift up to 35 pounds.
All volunteers must submit an application and agree to a background check.
For more information or to apply, please contact us via VolunteerMatch, by phone at 815-351-9285 or email us at bvogt@cnnssa.org
Thank you!
