The MEDICAL TEAM Hospice is seeking friendly and compassionate individuals to assist with administrative task. This position is valuable to the company as someone in this role would assist with getting information out into the community, following up with families to ensure their hospice experience is of great quality. Doing routine office work. Our volunteers are indispensable key members of the Hospice Care Team. They share their time, talents and interest by providing comfort and support to our patients and families during the critical time. The Medical Team hospice provides comprehensive training and orientation to support you in the challenges of working with Hospice patients. If you can give 1-3 hours per week, please join our team!!!
Please note this volunteer position is for weekdays between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

There are different ways to volunteer for hospice other than visiting with patients, you can spend time helping out with office tasks. Volunteering in the office consist of many tangible tasks such as: answering the phone, making phone calls to patients' family/caregiver, putting together admission patient handbooks, filing, organizing papers/files and any other helpful office task. It is also a great way to get a perspective on health care administration. A volunteer in our office is very helpful and appreciated.
