POSITION DESCRIPTION The Development Support will research and manage supporters, maintain the donor database, record and assess fundraising efforts, and coordinate events. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual seeking to cultivate nonprofit development, marketing, and business skills, as well as establish a background in student and disability advocacy programs. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Research corporate, individual, and foundation donors · Manage grant and donor files and databases · Support grant application tracking and writing · Collaborate with Development Committee to administer development strategies · Assist in the creation of messaging for email and social media campaigns · Conduct competitive analysis of other nonprofit development efforts, and implement best practices · Attend virtual team meetings as needed · Prepare materials for weekly Development Committee meetings · Other related tasks as needed QUALIFICATIONS · Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail · Strong oral and written communication skills · Dependable and consistent work ethic · Ability to manage competing priorities · Possess an interest in nonprofits, disability advocacy, development, marketing, or business career · Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel · Must provide two references
