Shelving Aide

Perform a variety of tasks involved in the arrangement, order, upkeep and maintenance of shelved library materials.

2 - 4 hours weekly. Flexible schedule, Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Key responsibilities include:

* Read shelved items for accuracy.
* Maintain shelves by straightening and shifting materials as directed.
* General straightening of shelved material and public areas.
* Special projects such as cart maintenance.

Must be:

* able to stand, bend, lift, reach to 75 inches, stoop and crouch.
* detail oriented and able to file accurately in alphabetical, numerical, and Dewey Decimal order.
* able to understand and follow written and oral directions.
