We are looking for creative, energetic and flexible individuals to help run our resale shop Monday through Friday from 9am to 5 pm. Hours are flexible but we are looking for people who can commit to a full 8 hour shift or a minimum of two 4 hour shifts.
You will be directly involved in accepting donations from the public, pricing these donations, and stocking items on our floor for resale. All sale proceeds are circulated back into the organization to help meet its goals of successfully serving the community.
Previous experience in sales, or in retail, or in dealing directly with the public is preferred but not essential. If you consider yourself a people person, then you also might be a perfect fit. You will be responsible for greeting shoppers, recording donations as inventory, finalizing sales on our point of service device, as well as recording customer data (for example: names/emails/mailing addresses) for event mailings and circulars.
This is a great opportunity for a retiree, or a person who wishes to donate time for a good cause, or someone who enjoys meeting the public.
