Our Volunteer Phone Banker/Canvasser play an important role in helping us to carry out our organization's mission and purpose. Ripe for Victory hosts various get out the vote (gotv) activities throughout the year to encourage citizens to register to vote and exercise their right to vote. Increasing voter power, increasing voter participation and increasing voter protection is important for us. It is our focus to make sure no voter is left behind and all have a voice in our democracy.

Some duties and responsibilities of the Volunteer Phone Banker/Canvasser include:

- Connect with your community by giving them a call! Calling people to register to vote, get out to vote, notify them of upcoming events, and keep them in the loop with ways to be civically engaged.
- Door -to-door voter outreach * We are a nonpartisan organization and does not endorse or affiliate with any political candidate or candidate's campaign
- Sending text messages to remind people to get out and vote
