ORGANIZATION: Spark the Journey

Leaders are more than national figures. Leaders are individuals within our community seeking change! Make an impact today by mentoring a D.C. high school or college student.

Mentors of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • 21 years old or older
  • Four-year degree or higher
  • DMV Metropolitan resident

Flexible Mentoring Schedule - HS:

  • Call/email your mentee 1x a week
  • Meet with your mentee virtually or in-person following CDC guidelines 2x a month
  • Communicate with staff 1x bi-weekly

Flexible Mentoring Schedule - College:

  • Call/email your mentee 2x a month
  • Meet with your mentee virtually or in-person following CDC guidelines, based on your student’s availability
  • Communicate with staff 1x quarterly
