We ask for an ongoing weekly commitment on Tuesdays & Thursdays ONLY from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM, for as long as you are able. You can choose to do one or both days!

We are in need of reliable and compassionate volunteers to serve approximately 150 older adults each week through our Grab & Go Program in Stanton, providing a safe and convenient way for local seniors to access nutritious meals during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this role, you will be helping staff members/volunteers organize and bag frozen meals for seniors who will be coming to the center to pick up these meals. You will help prep the packaged meals and set up food for the distribution, or possibly assist with registration, etc. For this position, you must be able to stand, bend, reach, use hands & arms, etc. throughout the shift. You will be in an "assembly line" setting in the kitchen/packing area.

To clarify: You will not be delivering meals to seniors’ homes. Instead, this volunteer role is at the Senior Center for our "Grab & Go" program, in which seniors come pick up their meals.

Important Info: We continue to practice social distancing, and have several other safety procedures in place, such as wearing gloves & face masks for ALL volunteer positions.
