Bristol Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to our hospice patients. Join us in bringing comfort and peace to those facing end of life. Become a regular visitor and a supportive companion to a patient and help make their days brighter. :) Play games, watch TV or movies, listen to music, converse, or just lend an ear as they share stories from their life.
Our patients are located throughout the Denver metro area, including Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Elizabeth, Littleton/Highlands Ranch at various care communities and in private homes. We will match and introduce you to a patient in your area.
We require a year-long volunteer commitment, offering a minimum of 4 hours of your time per month. Our onboarding process includes comprehensive hospice education and training. We also require a background check, drug screening, and tuberculosis test.
Consider joining our team of compassionate volunteers making a difference in the lives of our patients! This is truly a journey of the heart.

Description
Bristol Hospice - Denver provides compassionate, competent care to patients enrolled with us for comfort care at the end-of-life. Our interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, CNAs, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers strives to meet the needs of our patients and their families in a holistic manner. We collaborate to enhance our patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our service area includes the Denver metro area, from Castle Rock to Longmont. We visit our patients in their homes, assisted living, or skilled nursing communities.
