Not everyone is interested in pounding a nail. Every person has different ideas, abilities, skills and interests, all of which are the building blocks of the Greater ABQ Habitat for Humanity.
The volunteer committee is currently open to new interests that would like to help engage in finding solutions with volunteer retention, assist with creating volunteer opportunities, share your ideas, and assist with volunteer events.
The committee will meet on the 4th Thursday of the month and all meetings will be held via Zoom for now. The timeframe is from 5:30 - 6:30pm.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to build community by partnering with working families, sponsors, and communities to build simple, decent, affordable homes - one home, one family at a time. As part of this goal we endeavor to provide support services that promote successful home purchase and ownership.
Description
Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical, Christian housing organization. We work in partnership with people in need to build decent, affordable housing. Our vision is that no one in the Greater Albuquerque area will live in substandard housing. Since 1987, we have built more than 177 homes in the Albuquerque area, all of which we could not have done without the generosity of hundreds of volunteers every year. Volunteers are needed to help with everything from construction to office to ReStore assignments.
