Do you want to be a key part of gathering stories and history for our new museum? Be part of America's K9 history. Military Working Dog Heritage Museum, Inc. seeks volunteers for our interview team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a member of the K9 military community. Talented interviewers willing to learn about the K9 Community will also be considered. Studying how dog teams stories are told is key. As part of a team, successful volunteers will need to work well with others. Must be US-based, reliable, and able to perform the following duties as assigned:
- Schedule and conduct one-on-one interviews with members of the K9 Community- currently through Zoom.
- Be willing to learn about American Military Working Dogs and their close-knit community.
- Be able to create a welcoming space for veterans who wish to share their stories.
- Record and return digital recording for our digital museum archives.
- Provide a secure and confidential environment.

We also plan to open a handler center where the focus will be on help, healing, and K-9 community.

- This depends on how many veterans we have who are willing to share their stories. Each interview may take between a half and hour and two hours.
