At Solutions for Change, we empower families to thrive and build a stable future. With over 4,700 families served and taken out of the churn of dependancy, our proven approach creates lasting change.
Make an Impact with KidZone! KidZone is a fun, safe space where children learn and grow while parents attend workshops and meetings. Volunteers provide care, mentorship, and encouragement-helping to shape a brighter future.
How to get started, you can sign up on our website, solutionsforchange.org unter take action and volunteer. There you can register for an orientation. If you prefer just getting started, you can reach out to the volunteer coordinator at 760-941-6545. If you are 18 or older a background check would need to be completed. For all volunteers inside KidZone a volunteer application would need to be filled out prior to starting. You can be 14 years old and up to volunteer in our KidZone. We also have a staff member present and supporting all volunteers.

Solving family homelessness- One family, one community at a time With community-focused solutions, we are fighting back against The Churn of poverty and homelessness to transform lives and restore community. Our three programs work together to holistically solve the root cause of the challenges families are facing, so future generations can live without the burden of poverty, dependency, and instability.
Description
Solutions Academy is a comprehensive 700-day vocational program that prepares families for lifelong success through career pathways, work experience, leadership training, family management skills, teamwork, financial literacy, personal development, accountability and connection.
Solutions for Change equips families with leadership skills that serve as the foundation for future success. From family life to work life, participants in our program learn how to create meaningful relationships built on trust, honesty, respect and concern.
