Calling all volunteers! Have some fun in the sun while restoring our local beaches. This opportunity will be located at various beach sites in Broward and Dade County. We need your help planting native beach plants.
What we will be doing:
- clearing out invasive plants
- plant native coastal plants
- clean up the beach
- learn about coastal ecology
What to wear:
- closed-toed shoes
- sun block and a hat
- reusable water bottle
- comfortable, breathable shorts/pants

Description
Since 2005 Youth Environmental Alliance has been instrumental in providing all-inclusive educational programs that focus on Florida's unique ecosystems and wildlife. Each program highlights the importance of outdoor ethics, safety and environmental stewardship. Partnerships with like-minded organizations have allowed Youth Environmental Alliance to maximize resources and improve the scope and quality of our programs.
