Learn It Together (www.learnittogether.org) is a free, online tutoring service run by college students and recent graduates. We’re an educational nonprofit looking to recruit volunteer tutors for this academic year in all subjects.
Our mission is to help try to close the academic opportunity gap that primarily affects low-income students and students of color. We're an organization run by college students and young professionals. We offer free, online, on-demand and recurring tutoring sessions on Zoom in an array of subjects. With our new website, you can also integrate your personal Google calendar for easy management and consistent reminders for your sessions. Volunteer tutors can set their own schedule (there is a 2 hour minimum requirement), teach the subjects they feel comfortable in, and take part in tutor engagement nights. It's also a really rewarding and tangible way to give back, mentor younger students, and become part of a community of tutors from all over the U.S. If you're looking to teach in the future, it's also a great way to build confidence.
Please consider volunteering with us! We're looking for tutors between the ages of 18-30 (ages are flexible).

Learn It Together is an educational nonprofit committed to closing the academic opportunity gap that disproportionately affects low-income students and students of color by providing free, accessible, and engaging virtual tutoring sessions.
Description
Learn It Together was founded and is run by college students, recent graduates, and young professionals. We are the most affordable, accessible, peer-to-peer student academic support program. Families that come to Learn It Together leave feeling engaged, ready to complete the rest of their schoolwork, and empowered to participate the following day in the classroom and ask and answer questions. We have partnerships with schools and after-school programs across America, and we're still growing!
Our coordinators and tutors attend a range of competitive universities and have found early success in their professional industries. We’re tutors, not teachers - but we’ve taken the classes, have the skills, and do our best to set students up for success. We all wanted to serve our communities in a unique time of crisis and beyond: that’s why we do what we do. We are looking for other passionate volunteers from a range of diverse backgrounds.
All of our sessions are booked through our website (www.learnittogether.org) and held online through Google Meets. Tutors are vetted, background checked, and trained. Tutors are able to set their hours to their liking; we do NOT ask for a minimum time commitment!
