Looking for Volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates. SOS CASA of the Flint Hills trains community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children brought before the court. Volunteers are appointed by judges to be independent, objective voices for these children. Volunteers gather information, make recommendations to the court, maintain contact with the child to ensure that the child's best interests are being protected and pursued, and monitor the situations until the child finds a safe, permanent home. It is our vision to provide a volunteer for each abused and neglected child in our service area. Call 620-343-2744 for more information.
