Friendly Visitor Volunteer will visit with a hospice patient and their family once a week or every other week for 1-2 hours and sometimes by phone. Providing companionship through conversation, reading a book, singing a song, listening to music, playing a game, simply holding a hand or being a presence at the bedside. Just because someone is dying doesn’t mean they stop living. You could assist with a milestone project or a legacy project.
