Through our nonprofit tutoring center, we provide educational services to families and students impacted financially by COVID-19. Our goal is to help students who fell behind during virtual instruction catch up and maintain their standing as students.
In addition to our onsite center, we offer virtual 1-on-1 tutoring for those who are unable to attend in person or do not feel comfortable visiting at this time.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to encourage and benefit all students and their parents academically in creative and innovative ways regardless of ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. We support students and families who qualify as low-income, foster, adopted, at-risk or court-appointed children, such as grandparents raising grandchildren, and now those affected financially by COVID-19.
Description
My Learning Studio OUTREACH is at the forefront of creating educational programs to support low-income, foster youth, adopted, at risk, court-appointed students, and those affected financially by COVID-19 in Riverside County and the surrounding communities. MLSO offers a variety of free and reduced-fee tutoring for Kindergarten- High School students. The programs vary from private 1:1 to small groups. Both are tailored to each students’ academic needs such as foundational skills, homework, and focus tutoring for math, reading comprehension, writing, and phonics. MLSO has also added a class on money management to provide financial skills for their future. MLSO strives to continue offering the highest quality of tutoring, has been voted BEST every year since 2008, and utilizes the most updated educational tools. The educational well being of all underrepresented students is the priority of My Learning Studio OUTREACH.

- We need volunteers Monday - Thursday afternoons (3pm-8pm) and Saturday and Sunday mornings. Volunteers can set their schedule but it is preferred to have consistent schedules (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursdays). Preference is 6-10 hours a week
- Volunteers should enjoy working with children and students and feel confident in their tutoring skills. We will provide training materials, but knowledge of the subjects you choose to tutor in is required.
