Title: Graphic Designer

Position description: The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating a variety of media, both print and electronic. This individual will take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts, and other designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with members of the BTF team to discuss needs and objectives
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
  • Plans concept by studying information and materials
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
    • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
  • Prepares finished copy for distribution
    • Purchase from authorized vendors or submit to project director for purchase
    • Provide electronic copies to involved parties



Other assigned duties:

  • Attend and participate in all volunteer meetings
  • Provide coordination and participation in fundraising activities
