VegFest is seeking volunteer organizing committee members to help us plan, coordinate, and execute the 2022 New England VegFest, taking place in May 2022 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Organizing committee members will meet on a regular basis starting in November 2021, based on availability of members (likely weekday evenings or weekends). Meetings will be held virtually through Zoom, so remote volunteers are welcome.
The organizing committee plans all aspects of the New England VegFest, including outreach to potential speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors; brainstorming festival activities; helping coordinate our swag bag and raffle; and more. We are seeking volunteers who are passionate about plant-based living and sharing that passion with others through a fun and festive event.

VegFest is a 501c3 non-profit based in Worcester, Massachusetts, that inspires people and places throughout New England to become more veg-friendly for the benefit of animals, people, and the planet. Through programs including the New England VegFest we show people that plant-based living is fun, easy, accessible, and delicious.

REQUIREMENTS
- Volunteers will meet virtually once every week to two weeks from November 2021-May 2022. Volunteers can take on planning duties throughout this time period that may require a commitment of their choosing (approx. 1-5 hours per week).
- Volunteers should be able to make a regular commitment to meeting using Zoom. Ideally, volunteers will also be able to help in-person on the festival day in late May in Worcester, MA, but in-person volunteering is not mandatory.
