Members of the auction committee will be tasked with planning HSMC’s 2023 Sails 'n Tails auction (tentatively scheduled for May 6th, 2023). The auction will be an in-person event.

Planning includes the following:

• Procurement of event sponsors
• Procurement of silent and live auction items
• Cataloging all auction items - silent and live
• For silent auction items create bid sheets
• Coordinating registration and checkout for the event
• Promotion of the event
• Volunteer coordination

For night of event:
Event is held at Alderbrook Golf Club

• Set up
• Coordination of meal/wine
• Printed materials such as bid sheets, event program, etc.
• Audio/video equipment
• Check in and Check out
• Clean up and take down

Regular planning meetings will be held as often as needed. Auction committee chair will be in charge of overseeing all event planning. Committee secretary will be responsible for keeping meeting minutes.
