The Boston Congress of Public Health (BCPH) is looking for an Executive Assistant (EA) who will be responsible for managing the communications of key company executives. The duties of the EA will assist in preparing and gathering documents to prepare for meetings, retreats, etc.; taking detailed notes during the retreat; keeping track of simple accounting and budgeting information; and assisting the Co-CEOs in any additional as-needed administrative tasks.

The mission of the Boston Congress of Public Health is to democratize public health.

Description

Transcending the traditional boundaries of academia and medicine, BCPH will support the next generation of public health thought leaders committed to social justice and democratize access to evidence-based public health through:

- Knowledge Translation - building and promoting translational knowledge through multiple platforms including blogs, vlogs, podcasts, TV series, and academic journals among others.

- Policy/Advocacy - devising a forum for policy/recommendation/guideline creation and dissemination,

- Education - developing intersectional social justice tools and highlighting underrepresented voices vis-a-vis fellowships and technical training

The Boston Congress of Public Health is the non-profit that publishes The HPHR Journal, formerly known as the Harvard Public Health Review (HPHR). The HPHR Journal is an academic journal established in 2014 with a mission to improve health at the local, national, and international levels.
