Anonymous Child is a global non-profit made up of a passionate group of volunteers. We strive to help stop the vicious cycle of poverty and bring high quality education to children and youth in need through our after-school programs.

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and self-motivated Chief Program Officer (CPO). The CPO will serve as a critical member of the organization’s executive management team and will lead AC into a new phase of programmatic excellence. The CPO will oversee (i) the development of Anonymous Child’s field-based educational afternoon programs and related operations, (ii) evaluate the effectiveness of programs, (iii) provide input into the organization's development strategy, and (iv) provide mentoring, guidance, supervision, and professional development to field-based leadership Key responsibilities include:

• In partnership with the global leadership team, play a key role in the overall strategy, program design, and project and program management of the programs
• Collaboration with the global leadership team to identify and pursue new donor and programmatic partnerships that align with the organization's strategic priorities;
• Directly supervise field-based leadership and advise, mentor and support country directors and other relevant field leadership to ensure safe and effective field-based operations;
• Identify and manage major organizational and programmatic risks;
• Ensure that evidence-based and data-driven decision-making are adopted into regular practices and strategic choices;

The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader who can develop and enhance our field-based programmatic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to our mission and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for an expert in program development, management, and evaluation who will be able to identify the structure, tools, and resources needed to deliver these programs at exceptional quality. Further, the ideal candidate will be a strong relationship-builder with the ability to find common ground, build consensus, and strengthen collaboration among diverse stakeholders. The CPO will be comfortable with data for decision-making, and planning within ambiguous, fluctuating conditions. An advanced degree in International Development or another relevant field is a plus.
