ORGANIZATION: ANTENNA THEATER

  • 7 people are interested
Calafia is California

California is named after Queen Calafia, who was a mythic Black Amazon Queen. Her story has been censored through the years therefore she needs to have her story told and her proper place in the history of California returned to her. We, at ANTENNA, are working on The Calafia Project. Our first goal is to make Californians aware that California is named after Calafia.

This is an exciting adventure that could alter the cultural landscape of the Golden State.
We love for you to join us if you're a writer capable of writing grants, and letters to donors. articles and press releases.

You will also be invited to work on, and/or perform in, ANTENNAs various productions if you wish.

Antenna Theater, is a Non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, founded in 1980 in Sausalito, CA. www.antenna-theater.org.
