Volunteer leads are needed at our once-a-month food distributions which support low-income seniors. Leads would be responsible for the check-in process, training, placement, and supervision of volunteers. We ask that the volunteer lead be prepared to give at least a 3-event commitment consecutively at their preferred site(s) (with events occurring only once a month at each location). This is a first-come-first-serve volunteer position. At these food distributions, volunteers are needed to help distribute food boxes which consist of shelf-stable staples such as milk, beans, grains, and canned fruits and vegetables. Help us help those in need!
Please abide by the following rules:
- Do not solicit clients
- Follow directions from staff at all times
