This is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to be involved in solving a social issue here in the community. Hunger pains are real and our homeless children feel them every day. We need you to help stop the pains for these precious children.

Donations towards this program will be used to feed the homeless children during their long school breaks from schools and holiday meals. Our program provides outreach programs on 3 islands year round. One of the most important aspects to this fundraiser is providing hot nutritional meals to homeless children. During the school year children are able to enjoy a daily meal; however, during the long school breaks that stability is gone. Children can go days without a healthy meal and most children will go to bed hungry. Your support can make the difference in these precious lives.
Help keep our homeless children nourished.
Some examples of the cost and what your donation helps to provide.
Daily breakfast is $5.50
Daily Lunch is $7.50
2 Daily Snacks is $3.50
Dinner is $7.50
You make the difference each dollar at a time.

There are many ways to be involved in the solution of ending hunger for our homeless children. When asked, children come up with some really great ideas on their own and can really help them in their own learning process of problem solving.
Here are some examples that have been successful in the past that are lead by the children.
1. Children have cleared out their closet of their unwanted toys. Put them together and sold them to the neighbors in a yard sale and on social media to raise funds to help a homeless child. This teaches the child the value of money, how to negotiate sales, customer service and the fulfillment of being able to make an impact with their own means.
2. Other children have hosted bake sales for their own family, offering to make desserts or other goodies for a gathering or a special dinner. This is also great to host a the local church, or a craft fair.
3. One classroom sold coffee every morning at parent drop off and actually raised $1,500 in one week.
4. A group of teens washed cars for the elderly. Had their family and friends sponsor a donation for the cars washed, donated their earnings to help feed our children.
5. Like the old fashioned Lemonade stands, children who learn to be creative, have hands on and community involvement learn and grow with healthier mindsets. This is a great way to keep your child interactive and the value of giving back.
The possibilities are endless, our youth have wonderful creative ideas and in the end everyone gains something from the experience of feeding homeless children.

We also have a social media challenge. Post our link to Share a Meal and allow your friends and family to sponsor a child for just $7.
This too can be very interactive and creative. Your child can make a short video of why they choose to partner with Project Hawai’i, Inc. and help feed homeless children, and put a challenge of their own for others to do the same.

You can share your impactful campaign to Facebook, Instagram, TickTock or other platforms and make a difference today.

HOW TO GET YOUR CHILD STARTED:
  1. Send your name and email
  2. Your child's name
  3. Your goal and ideas.
  4. We will send you the link to our Share a Meal program to help you get started.
  5. If you prefer we can create your own fundraising page to share on social media as well. We also have text to give options and create a flier to hand out.
Mahalo for taking the time to see how your child can help a child go to bed with a full tummy tonight. We need your help because these children count on us!!!
