Virtual Athletic Trainers (Boys/Girls)

We are looking for committed individuals to join our team as Athletic Trainers. You will serve either a boys' or girls' population.

We need Athletic Trainers to help us add to the menu of services we offer our young people. Our participants range in age from 9 to 18. They participate on our basketball, majorette, step, and cheer teams, but we have a handful who are in artistic programs like drumline, which still requires a certain amount of stamina in their showmanship. We only have the chance to see them two hours a week right now and on their off days, we are convinced that they have little to no physical activity and it shows from week to week. The goal is to help them develop and embrace a lifestyle of physical fitness and wellness.

The trainers would select a night or two nights in the week (6:00pm or 7pm start) and develop a fitness program that the participants can do virtually (Zoom). The trainer would then lead the participants in a series of stretches and exercises. The ability to post additional videos to their online locker rooms that they can access, and study would be helpful (but not required).

We are hoping for a January start and our season will end in June.
