Up With Books is in need of volunteer drivers who can deliver boxes of books and/or backpacks several time throughout the year. Largest deliveries are in the Spring delivering the backpacks to schools and organizations throughout Massachusetts from our North Chelmsford site (Lowell, Ware, Orange, Leicester).
Other opportunities during the year bring boxes of books to our partner site in Waltham.

Up With Books provides new books to children living in poverty as well as promotes reading and literacy.
Description
Up With Books is an all-volunteer nonprofit. Our largest program is our Every Summer Has a Story reading program which provides children in need with a backpack filled with new age-appropriate books to keep them reading through the summer months. To date, we have distributed over 3,680 backpacks and 200,000 books!
