The Traditions Health hospice team offers a special kind of caring atmosphere that encompasses the medical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of treatment. Our goal is to ensure the patient lives to their fullest potential with dignity and respect, and that family members are emotionally supported.
We are looking for compassionate people willing to give of their time. Our hospice patients love when a volunteer can come visit with them. Our caregivers/family members sometimes need to do errands or have time by themselves. Our volunteers are ready and willing to be with our patients during this time.

Description
Hospice care is about living!!! When a patient is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, The patient and family may be. overwhelmed with planning, questions and fear.
Our volunteers can sit with our patients and give caregivers time to complete errands, or just to have some personal time alone. We also send Volunteers into nursing homes to visit with residents, and play games like Bingo.
The last kind of opportunity we offer is is helping in our local office. If you enjoy doing office work, volunteers can help with many tasks in the office .
No matter the time you have available, we can find something for you, we work around your schedule ! We will gladly except any help you are willing to give.
