Education Travel and Culture (ETC) is a non-profit [501(c)(3)] educational exchange organization. We recruit host families across the country for international high-school exchange students. We are looking for a part-time/supplemental income Local Coordinator to join our team!

ETC Part-Time Local Coordinators (LC's) work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools. LC’s are involved in the recruitment of volunteer host families for our international high school students along with monthly oversight of the exchange student.

LC's recruit host families through reverse networking, job postings, phone calls and outbound emails. You will be compensated for each host family that you recruit. Your hours will be based upon how many families you recruit and exchange students you oversee, but can vary from 10-20 hours a month.

This is an independent contractor position which enables you to work at home and within your own schedule. The Local Coordinator position is family-friendly, flexible, and complements a busy schedule.

Qualifications:
* Recruitment skills with the ability to screen potential leads

*Value teens from around the world and appreciate the cultural enrichment they bring to our schools and communities

*Ability to problem solve and support students and host families during the students' program

* Self-motivated, organized, well networked within the community

*Driver’s License and transportation

*Ability to pass a Background Check

LC's will receive full training and ongoing support from the Field Manager.
