What we do and who we need
Our organisation is a nonprofit working to alleviate poverty and promote socioeconomic rights. We serve homeless people and individuals living in extreme poverty.
We are looking for a volunteer Corporate Partnerships Officer with the capacity to establish, maintain and grow collaborative relationships between our organisation and corporate entities that support our cause.
The ideal candidate should:
Possess excellent communication skills
Have good relationship management skills and the capacity to interact with diverse individuals and groups.
Have an ability to identify and explore opportunities for partnerships.
Be able to work on your own and collaboratively with other members of our team.
The candidate should be able to:
- Represent our organisation responsibly and effectively before our corporate partners
- Work with our Associate Director to develop an effective partnerships strategy
- Research with a view to finding potential partners
- Pitch partnership ideas to potential corporate sponsors
- Support our Associate Director in coordinating our corporate volunteering activities
Previous experience would be great but is not essential as basic guidance would be provided. The candidate will be able to learn on the job.
A significant part of the work will be done remotely by email and over the phone. Some physical attendance would also be required.

Refuge Network International is a non-profit humanitarian organisation whose mission is to fight against social injustices, empower the marginalized, and alleviate human suffering principally through the promotion of Economic and Social Rights (ESR) in pragmatic and innovative ways.
We work with the homeless, victims of human trafficking, refugees, individuals living in abject poverty, and other marginalized groups.
The current pandemic has exacerbated the misery of the global poor. It has also exposed the fragility of the social protection systems in many communities. Millions of disadvantaged poor people and marginalised homeless people are facing a difficult and uncertain future. As a humanitarian organisation, we are receiving unprecedented requests for assistance. We can see the suffering and can feel the urgency.
Fundamental rights to food, clean water, housing, health, and an adequate standard of living are all guaranteed in international law.
