WE NEED VOLUNTEERS WHO CAN VISIT WITH HOSPICE PATIENTS IN YORBA LINDA AND SURROUNDING AREAS!
We are seeking kind-hearted men and women willing to provide comfort and care for our patients. Volunteers can greatly impact the life of our patients through activities such as providing socialization, companionship, reading, listening to music, or simply providing conversation. Cadence Hospice prides ourselves in finding passionate, caring people to volunteer along side our team. We have various volunteer opportunities available for everyone, regardless of your background. Your unique talents, skills, and generous volunteer time are greatly appreciated and can be utilized. Cadence Hospice provide hospice services to patients across Orange County, as far north into LA County as Whittier and La Habra, down to San Clemente and San Bernardino County (i.e Rancho Cucamonga, Pomona, and Chino Hills), wherever the patient calls home. Patients may reside in their own home, board and care home or facility.
Cadence Hospice is flexible with volunteer hours and will best accommodate you and the patients. Any time you can dedicate will make a difference for our patient's lives. If you have an hour a week, it is an hour that can really benefit a hospice patient and/or their family. Please respond letting us know if you have a specific interest, skill, etc. that we may be able to utilize.
We are actively recruiting for volunteers at this time. The COVID-19 outbreak has prevented us from making visits to patients. We are taking this time to recruit more volunteers so that once visitations can resume we can hit the ground running with our new recruits. We have seen some forward motion towards resuming visits in the recent weeks. Please respond for information on how you can volunteer with hospice! Thank you for your time and consideration. Description
Hospice care is about living! When a patient is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, the patient and family may become overwhelmed with planning, emotions, questions, and fear. The Traditions Health hospice team provides support and guidance to patients and their families to address each of these needs throughout their end of life journey. We walk with the patient and their loved ones each step of the way, providing the education and care they need to have the best quality of life possible.
Our team is passionate about building relationships with our patients and their loved ones so that we know what matters most to them. Whether the need is physical, spiritual or emotional, our compassionate hospice experts are available to provide the necessary support. Comfort and dignity are the anchors of hospice care. Our clinicians are highly skilled at recognizing and managing symptoms early, in most cases allowing the patient to remain comfortable at home throughout the end of their life.
