CentroNia seeks creative graphic designers (2 freelance/virtual) to help with our critical graphic design needs over the course of the next year, in areas like designing virtual flyers, program materials, and other branded digital assets.


About Us

CentroNía continually works to build brand awareness and credibility to provide affordable, high-quality early childhood education as well as professional development to early childhood educators; and family support services to more than 2,400 children and families from primarily low-income, working households.

Our desired volunteer/s will have the capacity to provide creative graphic design, to help amplify our brand, and promote our message regarding how we make it possible for parents - especially low-income parents, to pursue educational or professional opportunities knowing their children are learning and growing in our high-quality bilingual/multicultural early childhood centers.

About the role
This volunteer opportunity requires candidates to be able to perform duties that include the following:

The Graphic Designer will be part of our Development & Communications Team and will collaborate with the team to ensure an interesting and thought-provoking final product for our friends, supporters, and partners.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Volunteer remote position (when required, 5-10 hours/week, flexible)
  • Flexible deadlines/hours
  • Reports to Director of Development & Communications

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Some experience as a graphic designer, web designer skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of online graphic design tools such as Canvas, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
