This volunteer position includes a monthly stipend and tuition reimbursement. Available through fa one to three year grant from the federal Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program. You will help the the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club in Savannah to build a strong, consistent marketing program that reaches our various audiences - disadvantaged youth, community supporters, funders, partner agencies.
The Marketing Coordinator will identify, implement and document the procedures needed to reach our audiences. using social networking apps, videos and flyers to communicate about our Club and its events and programs. This project will lay the groundwork for us to have a reliable, consistent and powerful marketing program with clear roadmap for success.
The position provides a $900 per month stipend and an end of service $5,600 tuition reimbursement or a cash award. Our Club is located in Savannah’s beautiful historic district, with free parking right at our Club building and within walking distance of both quick lunches and great restaurants. Free lunches are available daily in our Kids Cafe.
We use strict health safety guidelines to keep our Club safe for our Club members, staff and visitors.

Description
Operating in Savannah for over 100 years, the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club has grown from a small, recreation-oriented boys club to membership as an independent branch of the Boys & Girls Club of America. We are at the forefront of providing programming and services for disadvantaged and severely at-risk children and youth in Savannah, Chatham County, serving up to 1,100 children and youth per year. We're located in Savannah’s beautiful historic district and within walking distance of many of the young people we serve. Our strong mix of positive youth development programs, owned building with classrooms, a gym and more, professional staff, volunteer support and community outreach events all combine to support those we serve. We're part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) network of independently operated Clubs. BGCA has been acknowledged annually for the strength and positive impact of its programs.
