This is an opportunity for families affected by childhood cancer, both the diagnosed child and their siblings, to be able to still experience childhood joy safely in the midst of the stress of their journey. We host a medically safe trunk or treat and carnival free of charge to the family. Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks including monitoring trick or treat and food stations, carnival games, balloons, face painting, setup, breakdown and more. Once a position is full it disappears from the application. Volunteers will receive a follow email the week of the event with additional instructions. We have several opportunities throughout the year that require a number of volunteers for setting up events, working events and cleaning up after events, as well as office help in preparation for events.
