Calling All Volunteers!
The Arts and Digital Media Division and Alumni Network are is seeking volunteers to assist with engaging and informing visitors during our ACC’s Inaugural Exhibition during West Austin Studio Tour, to take place the second and third weekends of November (Saturdays, November 6 | 13 and Sundays, November 7 |14, 2021, between noon and 6 p.m. Volunteers will serve as representatives of the ACC studios. Duties include event setup and/or breakdown, assisting visitors by giving directions, handing out maps, limiting group numbers, guided tours, and answering general questions.
The exhibition will showcase visual, performing, and literary artists from our ACC community of students and alumni, faculty and staff.
Qualifications: Candidates must have an enthusiasm for community arts and engagement with the public, and the ability to commit to at least one three-hour shift of volunteer time. Two shifts are preferred but not required.
Work Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 6, Sunday, Nov. 7, Saturday, Nov. 13, and Sunday, Nov. 14, between 11:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day. Shifts are three hours each and volunteers are encouraged to work two shifts if possible. We also have one hour set-up and breakdown shifts directly before and after the event.
This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with the ACC Alumni Network and explore opportunities and classes offered in ACC’s Arts and Digital Media Division, meet other community members, as well as interact with faculty and staff. We hope you will join us!
