Loaves & Fishes Community Services is looking for a volunteer to fill the Site Coordinator role for the VITA program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) 2021 tax season. The Site Coordinator has key responsibilities in oversite of the tax preparation open hours, organizing tax preparers, obtaining onsite information, and coordinating efforts with IRS representatives.
Training for the role is provided, and primary time commitments are during the tax season, from late January to early April. Strong organizational skills are most important; basic tax knowledge is provided during training. If interested, please contact Janet Derrick at jderrick@loaves-fishes.org.

Description
Loaves + Fishes serves more than 1,000 families each week throughout Naperville and 4 Counties! This requires hundreds of volunteers each month (Spanish fluency always a need) in all areas of operation. We always need more volunteer support and could not help families without it!

- The site coordinator will do online training and certification and as tax season begins will be supervising the VITA tax preparer volunteers. Normally we provide appointments for the clients 4 times a week.
- Understanding of the tax process, but no CPA, or professional tax skills required.
