Hello there!
The Center for Child & Family Services is looking for around 50 volunteers to help with the Holiday Light Stroll event, that will take place at Newport News Park on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021. We will have volunteers meet us at Woodside High School in Newport News at 4:30 p.m. Please email me at bdegen@kidsandfamiles.com if interested in helping. Volunteers will be used to help load and unload buses, pass out water/cookies to the walking participants and sing Holiday Carols while participants are walking.
All proceeds raised from the event will go to the Center for Child & Family Services. Volunteers should be 16 and up or have a parent guardian if younger to assist.
